on the first and third Monday of each month in the meeting room on the DPW building at 20 Elm St. The Mayor may vote on any matter before the Board and is obliged to cast the deciding vote in the event of a tie.
Elections for the offices of Mayor and Trustee are held on the third Tuesday in March. The term of office is two years, staggered so that the Mayor and two Trustees are elected in odd years and two other Trustees are elected in even years. The Mayor is responsible for overseeing all Village Departments, annual budget, accounts payable/ receivable, and other projects that come up from time to time.
